Do you believe our ability to Love has the power to save humanity?
Why do you believe this? And if you don’t , why not?
Please note, this is not a question about whether God’s love can save humanity or not. I am asking whether the human capacity for love is sufficiently powerful to save humanity from all the pain and suffering we currently inflict upon each other.
I am defining love as our ability to consider another person’s well-being to be at least as important as our own.
There are lesser affections which do not consider another person to be as important as ourselves.
Ah, only if we achieve self-actualization, and acquire the most sincere, deep form of love: The Love of Humanity.
Which is basically the love of all life and the planet.
