my boyfriend of 7 months didnt call me on my birthday, potenial breakup song much? NEED HELP!?
mkkays so yeasturday was my 14th birthday and on the 13th my boyfriends of about 7 months hung out & he was amazing & he gave me a beautiful necklace he got in italy for me. Well on the 13th i asked him to call me the next day to wish me happy birthday, & he promised because him calling was going to make up for something he screwed up about before, hmm the 14th came around & i got about 20 calls from other friends, but nothing from him! today (the 15th) i get a text from him saying he was sorry he didnt call. Wanna know why? becuase he had a friend over & apprently he couldnt take three minutes to call or text happy birthday. Now im at home listening to the potential break up song by aly&aj. ( if you havent heard it I recommend it!) What should i do. (no answers saying ask your mom, bc y parents are divorced & im at my dads & hes at work)
He’s a guy and you’re young. That is how guys are. Some guys are like that and have the potential to grow out of it into great caring gentleman and some will always be rude little jerks, but you’ll never know that unless you’re with him till the end. So, you just have to know what you want. If you can get past it, and you want him bad enough, stay with him. If it hurts too much, MOVE ON. There are too many guys out there. Most likely you won’t be with this guy forever anyway, so do what you feel is right.
So…..On one hand…….He’s a dude. I’m sure he didn’t do it to hurt you. Guys are just not as thoughtful as girls are (well not all guys anyway).
On the other hand….if it were me……Birthdays are a big deal for me. I would move on. You don’t need that.
