Advice? Unrequited love story?
I met this great guy with whom I get along great. We seemed to hit it off. Well he and I had felt pretty good about each other and had sex after 2 weeks of dating, then things got weird. I come to discover that he’s got a very immature view on relationships (thinks that they just magically work, rather than take time to build), and he’s also not done with his resentment towards his ex-girlfriend who treated him terribly. He is clearly not over this and has some baggage.
We said we wanted to be friends, and I mentioned that in the first place when I started dating, I was interested in meeting people and seeing what happens, he thought that was a good idea for now. I’m dissapointed because I thought we definetely had something special. It’s clear that he likes me too, he’s contacted me 3 times already this week. But the baggage with his ex is too much for me to handle. I’m planning on dating other guys and we’re going to remain friends, but is there hope after the baggage is gone?
if there is hope u will find out if the baggage leaves. if he loves you enough he will do something about the baggage specially if he knows it bothers you or you are concerned…..
